Welcome International Visitors!

IFPE is the leading international exposition and technical conference dedicated to power transmission and motion control technologies. Show Management is here to help make your week at the show and in the great city of Las Vegas as successful as possible.

Registration and Hotel Reservations Are Open
Make all of your arrangements today by visiting the show registration page. You can also register for your Las Vegas hotel accommodations by clicking here. In order to reserve your hotel room, you must first register to attend the show.

United States Visa Information:

Many travelers to the United States need a temporary visa to enter the country. Due to security concerns, visa applications are subject to a certain degree of scrutiny. You are encouraged to apply for your visa as soon as possible.

You can fill out your US Visa application online by clicking here.
To locate an Embassy or Consulate nearest you, click here.

Official Letters of Invitation

Letters of invitation in support of your visa application can be requested during the registration process. In order for you to receive your letter, you must:

  1. Completely register for the show, including payment.
  2. Once you have paid for your registration, you will be able to click the "print visa" button on the end screen and your official invitation will appear. Please print this – it serves as your official invitation from show management.
  3. If you cannot register online, you can contact show management at +1 414-298-4167 or email international@ifpe.com and explain your situation. After getting approval for a custom letter to be written, it will be sent to you within 7 days.
  4. REMEMBER: Invitation letters are not required for the US visa application. They will add to a strong application, but will not make a weak application valid. Make sure to print off your registration confirmation to show the Embassy of Consulate that you are in fact registered for the show and have paid. Doing so for your hotel and airline reservations will add positively to your visa application.
  5. In case of problems printing the invitation letter:
    • Try logging into the registration site using your customer ID (which was sent to you automatically after successfully registering) and your last (family) name.
    • Once you log in, click "next" or "pay now" until you reach the end screen where you can click on the link "print visa"
    • When you click on "print visa" your invitation letter should be automatically generated. Please print it at that time.

If you have questions or concerns regarding Visa Invitation Letters, please call +1 414-298-4167 or email international@ifpe.com.

International Trade Center (ITC) & Language Assistance

Show Management is here to help you and we will continue to do so onsite at the show! Visit the International Trade Center (ITC), conveniently located on the show floor, to receive general assistance in major world languages, to meet with business partners and industry peers from around the world or simply to take a break from walking the show floor.

The ITC will also offer private meeting rooms, Internet, phone/fax access and a lounge area with light refreshments.

U.S. Department of Commerce representatives will be at hand to provide import and export counseling for interested attendees and exhibitors. In addition a CD-ROM listing all IFPE 2008 exhibitors interested in international business opportunities (distributorships, direct sales, joint ventures, licensing agreements) will be available at the ITC. This listing, the so-called Export Opportunities Guide, will also be included in the official Show Directory. Prior to show opening the listing will also be searchable online.
